I decided that July 23, 2011 would be a rebirth for me. Yes, I am doing it the Californian way, it has to have a spiritual meaning :) Fiona would remember this one when all these naked women in a jacuzzi in Santa Cruz where debating the reasons of their nakedness and relating it to some cosmic event. They asked me how it was in France ... I said people get naked in France and don't discuss about it. They do it because they like it, want to be seen or else ... Some kind of Earthy reasons... right there and then I reinvented the concept of reality :) I can be a genius like that some times :)

Virtuality was never my thing and still isn't. I am a hard core realistic sarcastic (Not sarcastic bastard, somebody already own this title) dreamer :)
I am working with high tech equipment and I already have my dose of irrelevance to life. We live in a world where people feel handicapped because they don't use computers. I have a friend who grows tomatoes. I call him the TomatoGuy. He apologizes to me one day for being computer illiterate. I asked him if he needed a computer to grow his tomatoes. He said no. I don't know who was better off me with my dear Mass Spectrometer (don't worry if you don't know what it is, it won't add anything to your life if you do) or him with his tomatoes. Actually he is. His tomatoes can feed him. My Mass Spec can not, at least not exactly what I want. :)
I am Tunisian by blood so I love the internet for allowing quick changes, like the ones that happened in the land of Hannibal... Quick propagation of information around the world. Having said that my idea of life, friendship and relationship is quite different than the one conveyed by Facebook or the internet. I like a nice dinner with a nice Chateau Petrus (this one is for Éliane) with friends. I like permanency, even in life where the only certainty is death( my sarcastic french side... ) :)
