METRONOMY
"When a band describes their sound as 'Daft Punk meets The Eagles,' you figure the outcome could be either really horrible ... or totally awesome. After all, these are two pretty big extremes. Lucky for us, the Devon, England-based foursome Metronomy falls into the latter category. ... Their latest effort, The English Riviera (out now), is an unexpected mash-up of frontman Joe Mount's strangely relaxing vocals, catchy synth hooks, and funky staccato beats, all complemented by a wonderfully melodic undertone." --Nylon
“Joe Mount has transformed his Metronomy project from a jaunty, brilliant, yet ultimately niche electro outfit into one of the most expansive and visionary pop bands in the country.” Album Review. 9/10. Buy this album." --NME

JHAMEEL
Jhameel presents a blend of orchestral instruments, tight percussion, fierce vocal melodies, and rich synthesizers in his new album, The Human Condition. His music is tied together by his distinct pop sensibility, with influences in Jonsi, Phoenix, and MGMT. "Jhameel’s second LP, The Human Condition, is an album of classically-influenced pop that struggles gracefully with the big issues of our time. It’s so graceful that it could put him in the running to be the voice of his generation." --MTV
