With the high costs of school supplies, purchasing supplies presents challenges to many economically disadvantaged families in the Boulder Valley and St. Vrain school districts. The goal of this project is to increase community support of children in need and ensure that all students start school with the supplies they need to succeed. For the 2011-12 school year, the program will fulfill the needs of nearly 8,000 students!!

You can help by purchasing school supplies and backpacks and donating them at the JCC, or by making a tax-deductible donation to fund these supplies. After purchasing your items for Crayons to Calculators, please join us at our thank-you and backpack stuffing ice cream social on Tuesday, August 2! We'll need your help stuffing the packs and then we'll enjoy ice cream and ice pops.

If you can't make it to the ice cream party, please drop off your items between July 21 and August 1 at the Boulder JCC
