Alright, so this invite may be a little late but the TNSR is as on time as ever, so let's ride some bikes!! We haven't spent much time south of the river this summer so this week we'll be taking a south route and our after party will be hosted by the fine people at Uncle Billy's on Barton Springs! They've been generous enough to provide us with a FREE keg of their fine brew and three dollar pints of the rest of their regular drafts! Don't forget to try bring some extra loot for some barbecue if you have a hunger. This week will be a blast!!
ROUTE: Yes, there will be one.
WHERE AND WHEN: We meet at Festival Beach (http://tinyurl.com/48yq5zu ) Get there around 7:00 for some social time. We take off around 8pm. This week we're ending at Uncle Billy's Brew&Que (http://www.unclebillysaustin.com/ ) map: (http://tinyurl.com/3j79ztg)
WHAT: A bike ride with a bunch of your favorite Thursday Night Bike Friends. We ride, we hang out at parks then we go have some fun at a great bar!
HOW: Social Cycling Austin rides AS traffic and NOT AGAINST it. We stop at red lights, yield the right of way and let cars pass as best we can. We don't block intersections. We are cool to both our fellow riders and the other traffic on the road. Listen up to those volunteers who are helping to lead the ride. They are some nice folks and have you best interest in mind. If you have any questions about our the rules, i suggest you check here:

REMINDER: The goal has always been to create a safe environment for all riders, but as luck would have it we cannot control, nor do we desire to, every rider's behavior. We promote personal responsibility, and it is each rider's responsibility to take care of themselves, and if they choose to ride with us, then they accept those risks inherent in riding a bicycle with a large group of other people riding bicycles.
WHAT YOU NEED: A bike or some sort of human powered wheels, LIGHTS, LIGHTS, LIGHTS, A LOCK, a valid ID for the after party, MONEY FOR THAT TIP JAR. (Just because your beer is free doesn't mean the bartender wants to work for free)
See you by the water!
Ack
*This invitation is not intended for people without bikes, who will be out of town, who are working or who are impatient as to the details of the route.
