Join Spark Champions Gayle Karen Young and Michael Hoy as they host a Spark Summer Soiree. Sip and sway the night away to the sounds of Sinister Dexter, a 10-piece, horn-driven funk and soul band from San Francisco dedicated to having fun and helping people get down. Tickets include a hosted wine bar, hors d'oeuvres provided by Cedar Hill Kitchen and Smokehouse and a donation to Spark's grantmaking program.
About Spark:
Six years ago, Spark was started by a group of young women in San Francisco seeking to engage their peers in the issues that impact women's human rights. They sought to build a community of young, global citizens who would invest in improving the lives women around the world. Spark has grown into a network of over 5,000 in the Bay Area. Spark members are committed to learning about and engaging in the global community, as well as working and socializing with like-minded individuals through educational activities, volunteerism and activism.
