Well I'm finally off to the US of A, perhaps for 3 years or longer. You got rid of me at last.
Owing to the unpredictability of when my visa would come through, I wasn't able to plan a going away bash. Luckily my darling friend Laura has allowed me to use her birthday drinks as a good place to gather people to say farewell in the style befitting me...drink in hand.
