[read more] Fashion for Charity is proud to announce their third annual fashion fundraiser featuring runway shows from leading designers and a cocktail reception and silent auction benefitting two non-profit organizations fighting against human trafficking. The highly-anticipated event takes place at the Moore Building located in the heart of Miami's Design District on Saturday, Sept. 17th from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
More than 500 people are expected to attend the elegant soiree which begins with a VIP cocktail reception and silent auction as celebrity guests, including Academy Award winning actress Adriana Barraza and The Real Housewives of Miami’s Adriana de Moura, grace the red carpet. A series of fashion shows will showcase this season’s hottest fall/winter collections including designs from Y-3 along with a children’s runway show. Guests can mix, mingle and shop at an array of “pop up” boutiques as they enjoy the DJ and live entertainment.
All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Project Start Off Smart (SOS) and The EDGE Charitable Foundation. Project SOS is an initiative of the Homestead Police Department dedicated to identify victims of domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, sexual abuse and human trafficking and provide services to help these victims.
The EDGE Foundation advocates social responsibility for children around the world and is impacting more than 12,000 children and families—with its largest population in our own backyard—who are financially-challenged, victims of human trafficking and violence.
It will be a night to remember, and a cause one can’t forget. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $75 for VIP admission, which includes reserved seating, a luxurious gift bag, complimentary cocktail bar, complimentary valet parking and complimentary hors d'oeuvres.
