- Are you looking for help in raising awareness, recruiting volunteers, or bringing in money into your organization?
- Have you sensed the urgency of finding a trusted guide to help you embrace social media in order to serve your community?
- Would you like help in learning how to tame the fire hose of information on Twitter or Facebook?
- What if you could figure out a way to navigate the social web and still get everything else done that you have to do every day? Are you willing to give it a shot?
We’re betting you answered yes to most if not all of these questions. The good news is that you’re not alone, we get it, and we can help.
This workshop begins with your message and what conversations you want to influence. We will help you craft your story and clarify your message. Then we look at how to use social media tools to Filter, Listen, Connect, and Engage. Rather than a talking heads how-to, this is going to be an in the trenches, get into gear, roll up our sleeves and work - shop. Together we will get into Twitter and other tools and help you learn how to listen. How to engage. And how to move people to action.
Throughout the series, we will look at tools like websites, newsletters, blogs, social networks, monitoring dashboards, mobile applications, location based services, CRM, and other tools to stay connected with your community. Plus, we’ll be providing virtual supplements to the course material in between sessions to keep you on track and moving forward.
