Do you love playing UNO? Think you’ve got what it takes to compete with thousands of fans all over the world, and be crowned the UNO World Champion?
Show off your skills at “the one game for everyone” in our 40 Days of UNO Tournament on Facebook. And don’t worry. If you don’t want to participate in the Tournament, you can still enjoy regular game play on the UNO App!
The Tournament starts on August 15th and will consist of three different stages, where you’ll be able to earn points as you compete. The more games you play, the more points you get; the more points you accumulate, the greater your chances are of advancing to the next stage!
Starting August 15th, you can enter the Tournament here:

Here’s how it works:
Stage 1: “All Play” (August 15, 2011 - September 5, 2011)
Everyone is invited to play. Different point values will be awarded to you based on how you complete your game. If you’ve racked up enough points to move onto the next round, we’ll notify you via email between September 6th and September 8th.
Stage 2: “Championship Play” (September 9, 2011 - September 18, 2011)
400 “All Play” winners will compete for four coveted spots in the final stage of the 40 Days of UNO Tournament. Remember, the more games you play, the more points you can get; and the more points you get, the greater your chances are of moving onto the final stage!
Stage 3: UNO World Champion Finalists (September 24, 2011)
This is it! The four players with the highest total in Stage 2: “Championship Play” will compete in three consecutive head-to-head matches. The winner will be crowned UNO World Champion!
Leaderboards/Stats:
During the Tournament, you’ll be able to track your progress on three different leaderboards: one for your specific Country, one for your Facebook Friends, and one massive Global board.
