Taking the Bulldog to 30,000; My Contribution to the Detroit Regional News Hub.
Since starting a blog about the underreported stories in metropolitan Detroit, the Bulldog as we affectionately call our blog, has grown to over 30,000 unique visitors each month. Some of that success is due to a renewed interest in Detroit and the region. Some of that success is due to good writing. A hidden element to our success however is a focus on networking offline and making sure people are connected with the stories that concern them.
David Lingholm
Husband, blogger, student, Detroiter. All of these are accurate when used to describe David, yet these words only tell part of the story. David has been active in political campaign fundraising, non-profit organization fundraising, retail grocery management and straight-commission sales. He volunteers time with Operation: Kid Equip and the Maple Valley Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
David writes for the Detroit Regional News Hub and manages the digital marketing for Dig Downtown while pursuing his Masters in Training and Development from Oakland University. He is a member of Association of Training and Development and the BING Institute. To relax a bit, he enjoys a dram of good scotch, working while listening to house music, Detroit Tigers baseball and the occasional whitewater rafting trip.
