The Frail released the video for “Heartbeats” today. The lead single off their latest EP Lasers Over Lovers (which was recorded in one night at Different Fur with Ben Bernardy) is thick with lavish synths and danceable bass lines. The video goes through a sort of urban Wizard of Oz and the voyage of a tin man who ends up in a smokey Emerald City style warehouse where The Frail is playing. Directed by David Dutton, who has been gaining a lot of local recognition with another video he released last year for fellow local electropop outfit, The Limousines which ended up being featured on MTV and Alternative Press.
