We'll have some live jazz going all afternoon so you can get your groove on.
Refreshments will include shots of homemade kombucha (and we'll have a few SCOBYs to give away for those of you who want to start brewing your own). YUM.

FarmCurious is a permanent fixture at the store, with its own nook in the garden center filled with a delightful array of homesteading supplies. Nicole, the owner, will be on hand to introduce you to everything from making mead to raising ducks. She’ll also do a cheesemaking demo at the party around mid-day.

Happy Girl Kitchen Company drops off deliveries for their food preservationist program at our store. If you are looking for a convenient source for flats of the kindest organic produce around (with recipies) or bulk supplies for making the pickles of your dreams, alls you gots to do is place your order online and then pick up the next Friday at succulence. Really cool! Happy Girl has been making pickles and putting up preserves for longer than you’ve been using the word locavore. On August 27, you can catch a live pickle demo and taste some tasty bites.

Happy Girl works closely with Live Earth Farm, and so do we! Live Earth offers a traditional CSA (community supported agriculture) subscription and their produce is out of this world good. You can taste their goods (berries if you are really lucky) and get pricing and other information about the CSA at the party.

Our newest addition is Damn Fine Bacon’s monthly bacon club. Yes, a bacon club. The first Saturday of every month you can pick up your pre-ordered, un-fucking-believably good locally-made bacon. There is no reason not to be a member. Damn fine samples will be on hand.
