We fought this Legislative session together united; we celebrated and learned together at the Festival for Florida’s Future, now it’s time to kick our movement into high gear. The Staff of the Florida AFL-CIO will be packing their bags and heading towards your neck of the woods to listen to and talk with local union and coalition leaders and activists about our working families’ movement.

President Mike Williams, Legislative and Political Director Dr. Rich Templin, Political Field Director Salandra Benton, Political and Legislative Coordinator Phyllis Garrett, Community Organizer Edwin Enciso, Communications Director Joshua Anijar and Volusia Flagler AFL-CIO President Stacy Stepanovich will all be conducting presentations on Working Families Lobby Corps, Community Outreach, Media Outreach/Social Networking, Legislative Coalition, Farm Team/Labor Candidate School and the Strategic Plan detailing progress and laying out the groundwork for the next steps during the remainder of 2011 into the 2012 Election Cycle. These meetings will offer you a chance to provide your opinions and thoughts on the political and strategic programs of the Florida AFL-CIO. Our movement needs your input, your creativity and energy, so join in the conversation when we head into your town.
