Employed by the iconic DFA Records by day, Justin Miller has, in many ways, become a public face for the label. He couldn't be happier to have been given the opportunity to work so closely on a day-to-day basis with the company's founding members James Murphy, Jonathan Galkin, and Tim Goldsworthy. Miller has recently spun at several MoMA openings and galas, including a special DFA "Dance Party for the Color Chart: Reinventing Color 1950 – Today" exhibition, the 2009 and 2010 Armory shows with Gang Gang Dance and The Walkmen respectively, and the benefit for Tim Burton's retrospective. He's also been stationed behind the turntables for many openings at the galleries scattered throughout New York's SoHo and Chinatown neighborhoods, including Deitch Projects and Terence Koh's ASS gallery. Justin has graced the decks at locations around the world including London's Fabric, Cargo, and Plastic People to Social Club, Scorpitone, and Le Baron in Paris. A one time resident with Jacques Renault at NY's infamous 205, Miller and Jacques are teamed up once again with Lovefingers and Alison Childs to revive NY's party scene under the face of Galaxie.

Justin Strauss started his dj career at the mudd club. held dj residencies at other famed new york city clubs including the ritz, area, tunnel, limelight, MK, centro-fly, & LIFE. Justin has remixed loads of records by artists ranging from depeche mode to luther vandross to 808 state and beyonce. currently half of Whatever/Whatever Productions, with Bryan Mette, whose recent mixes include LCD Soundsystem, Two Door Cinema Club, Tegan and Sara, and Jacques Green.
