This year Le Fooding presents Le Grand Fooding New York--Exquisite Corpse.
For 52 hours from 9pm on September 23 to midnight on September 25 Le Fooding will transform the Honey Space in Chelsea into an around-the-clock pop-up restaurant featuring 13 of the world's best chefs. Chefs will cook back-to-back in four hour blocks, putting on seatings for 40 guests each. Seatings will consist of a four-course meal displaying each chefs individual style and creativity.
The event is called the Exquisite Corpse in homage to the eponymous tradition of the French Surrealists. Each chef will begin their stock with a scoop of their predecessor's soup course. Thus, by the end of the 52 hours guests will enjoy a soup that holds a bit of all 13 chefs' flair and creativity.
