TEDxPrincetonLibrarySalon Tuesday October 4th from 6:30 to 9:00 pm Note: The evening event is currently Sold Out. Due to Popular demand, we have added a 2nd appearance by The Oatmeal to his stop in Princeton. Free tickets are now available for Wednesday October 5th at 11:30 am in the library's community room. This event will be a traditional book signing -- short talk followed by lots of time for signing. Featured Speaker: Matthew Inman (aka The Oatmeal) Featured Performer: Sarah Donner (aka Reluctant Catlady) Join us for our first Salon event under our TEDxPrincetonLibrary license. Salon events are a great way to keep in touch with the local TEDx community between events. We will be hosting 4-5 salons each year and the best way to keep current is on our Facbook page. The price of admission guarantees your seat at this event (limited to 100 attendees) and includes a copy of Matthew Inman's book "5 Very Good Reasons to Punch a Dolphin in the Mouth" as well as a copy of Sarah Donner's CD "Typing is Dangerous". We will also be serving refreshments with light appetizers and desserts. What is TED? Click here to find out. What is TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At TEDxPrincetonLibrary, live speakers will spark deep discussion and connection. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
