Our first offering of the season, as we say goodbye to summer will bring you these heavy hitters in an incredible lineup in a show where YOU PICK THE THEME:
SAYE GBATU vs. ROD BEN
Saye won our last Friday Night Art Fight with a beautiful piece and is a master of many mediums, including traditional, digital and bodypainting, while Rod recently impressed the crowd of This Is Us Vs. with his deviant pieces and strong illustrations. Watch this match up and despair, ye mortals.
LINDA COSTA vs. ERICK JARA
Two underground art scene veterans as adept at smack talk as they are at laying the smack down. Renowned bodypainter and ALA Season 1 Champion Erick Jara takes on nationally acclaimed light painting photographer Linda Costa, who will bringing her more analog skills to bear this season. The sparks (and words) will fly on this one, folks. A clash of the Titans.
IZZY HILER vs. CHARITY LINDOP
Izzy is a Friday Night Art Fight competitor and has painted alongside ALA's very best at several charity benefits, but I don't think he will be showing any charity to mixed media artist Charity Lindop, who just had her first solo show, and is the first sculptor and primarily mixed media artist to take on the League. Izzy and Charity are relatively green to art battles but are both very creative and will give us an amazing match.
and our very special guests, THE IMPERIAL OPA will provide us with some sideshow entertainment! Oh yeah!
Who will move on to Round 2? YOU will decide with your vote and then take home the artwork you just watched happen during our famous Live Art Auction!
