It was considered the crime of the century when the lifeless form the world once knew as Pearl Bryan was discovered down the street from the grounds known in modern times as Bobby Mackey’s Music World.

Nearly 100 years to the day had passed when Ms. Bryan’s closest relation, and heir to the Bryan fortune, Eugena Carpenter, was suffering through yet another devastating loss. What felt like a lifetime since Eugena received the heart breaking news that her only child, Johanna, had taken her own life was in reality only a matter of weeks.

Known more for her erratic and eccentric behavior, rather than self-pity and loathing, Eugena decided the mourning would stop now and it was time for action!

Hastily Eugena gathered a list of friends and family. She would organize a dinner party. Partly so she, and she alone, could determine who was worthy of inclusion in her will. But more importantly so she could, once again, remind everyone who held the money and the power.
