One can’t get enough of this band based in the soggy bottoms of Arcata,
California. The name Bucky Walters may sound like some folk legend or a
retired baseball player, but in fact these guys are one of the hottest
bluegrass bands around. The sound of this young acoustic sextet has a
nostalgic bluegrass vibe that maintains a fresh, hot-pickin’ intensity,
attracting music lovers across the board. They have stolen the show at
several SF Bluegrass & Old-Time Festivals and multiple Hardly Strictly
after parties. But anytime Bucky Walters play, it’s a party!

league games in the evening time. Reminiscences of a past lover and a girl
who got away. Finding one’s self unraveled on a still, dark night, the
promise of youth and potential unfulfilled. These are some of the images
and feelings evoked in Athens, Georgia-based singer/songwriter Adam
