A diverse visual collection of lush landscapes, fantastical colorful realism and arresting portraits.
US PREMIER - MULTI-SENSORY MOVING ART
The show will feature the US premier of Multi-Sensory Moving Art, an innovative new type of picture frame, a Digital Sensor Frame. Developed by Marius Ghercioiu using the artwork of Ted Hayward, the device is all the rage in Hong Kong and Taipei. This frame is virtually connected to sensors via wireless WiFi tags, to record natural phenomena: temperature or other environmental effects (a new, wind-driven sensor will be ready soon), turning data into useful information that is manipulated to create dynamic art. Each moment's temperature scan triggers a new image, previously created and stored by the artist to match the data, and is seen live on a “Temperature Avatar” website.:http://tedhayward.temperatureavatar.com/
