Sean Boogie:
Mr. Boogie is behind the East Bay's long time running funk and mixed format nite Soundboutique and curator of the blog of the same name. Now a part of the 'Sweaterfunk' crew when's it time for boogie, modern and two step... and 'Lower Bottoms' when it comes to 6ts and 7ts soul and funk. A big proponent of OG vinyl and now more recently partner at Vamp records in Oakland, working hard to supply DJ's and collectors with essential and desired wax. He loves to share music, especially tunes that are seldom exposed. He's looking forward to sharing disco funk, disco rap, gospel boogie, italo, and his usual head nodders... He promises us some unusual grooves and hopes to play things we've never heard before.

About Grow Up:
Grow Up is a sophisticated night of disco, boogie, italo, and other assorted dance musics as performed by the DJs Hotthobo, Pat Les Stache and Fenstar. After being fed up with the sleazy side of popular dance nights in San Francisco, promoter Hotthobo (formerly of Pillow Talk) combined forces with similarly minded DJs, producers, and artists and to create Grow Up, a night that highlights their favorite dance tunes and genres new and old, with the focus being specifically on those elements. Each monthly edition of Grow Up features a guest DJ or live performance.
