MOBILE LIFE CENTRE RECEPTION ON SEPTEMBER 2, 2011
We are happy to invite all Mobile HCI visitors to a lab tour of the
Mobile Life centre in Kista! Book the tour to be held on Friday, 2nd of
September 16.45 - 18 pm at the Mobile HCI registration desk.
The Mobile Life centre is one of the main sponsors and organizers of
this year's Mobile HCI. The centre is a joint venture between Stockholm
University, SICS, Interactive Institute, Ericsson Research, Microsoft
Research, TeliaSonera, Nokia, Stockholm City Municipality, Bambuser and
The Company P, with funding from the Swedish funder VINNOVA. Mobile Life
employs around 35 researchers, many master students, together with
colleagues from our industrial partners.
We would like to take the opportunity to show you some cool demos and
some of our inspirational empirical studies of playfulness, location,
pervasive games, fashion and all the other practices arising around
mobile technology.
We will also provide some light snacks, wine and beer! A nice
opportunity to wind down and gossip with your friends and colleagues
after the conference...
The centre is located just outside Stockholm. A bus will leave from the
Mobile HCI-location right after the conference ends on Friday the 2nd of
September, around 16.00 pm. If you want to join: sign up on the list at
the registration desk of Mobile HCI.
Welcome!
Oskar Juhlin, Barry Brown, Lars Erik Holmquist, Kristina Höök and Annika
