Mosaic: Voices of Women's Suffrage features living history portrayals of suffragists Julia Ward Howe, Caroline Churchill and Alice Paul. Written by and starring local students Nicole Polglaze, Liesl Jensen and Jessica Miller, the performance showcases the accomplishments of three American suffragists, and compares their experiences from the 1860's until 1920, when the 19th Amendment passed, granting women the right to vote. The students have been invited to perform Mosaic in late September at the National Women's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Seneca Falls, NY, which, fittingly, was also the home of the first women's rights meeting in 1848. Her Story Media, Inc. has supported the girls in developing their performance, as well as creating a documentary and accompanying study guide.
