Dear Friends,
Let's get together this Monday evening, and toast transition.
Summer is coming to a close, and SF summer, aka fall, is getting started; white pants will cease being deemed appropriate, while lilies (the most beautiful of white flowers, in my opinion) will come into season; we're saying hello to school buses full of kids, and goodbye to charter buses full of tourists. Yes, we're on the cusp of change, and it warrants celebration.
It's also a bit of a hello/goodbye for me - I just got back from a month in Moscow (for work), and am leaving again this Thursday for two of months of travel (for play). So if flowers and buses weren't enough to convince you to make it out, then come to give me a hello/goodbye hug! (Also, I hear there is a rooftop patio with an awesome view of the city, and sunset is at 7:30..)
Hope to see you there!
Julia
p.s. As usual, it's an open invitation.
