DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Chapter House is one of a handful of chapter houses owned and maintained by DAR members in the United States. Designed by architect Daniel Riggs Huntington, a Seattle City Architect, our chapter house is a replica of George Washington's home in Mt. Vernon, Virginia. Huntington's designs include the Fremont Library, the Lake Union Steam Plant, Wallingford Fire Station and several memorable homes on Queen Anne Hill.
