Tour Guide: Mike Tokue

Sat. Sept. 17th - Mike Tokue returns this year to lead the TPC Akihabara tour. If you haven’t taken the ‘cloud’ Kool-Aid and still prefer to put together your own computer systems or engineer your own upgrades for cpu power, memory, storage capacity, etc. , then the back streets of Akihabara offer a shopper’s paradise with a wide selection of computer parts, special discounts and second-hand shops. Akihabara is also the place to experience first hand the latest and greatest in consumer electronics.

Same as last year, the meeting time & place is 1:00 P.M. outside the JR Akihabara Station “Electric Town” exit (north side) just outside the station building (map: http://bit.ly/cJm3ME ) . The tour should last between 3 and 4 hours and traditionally finishes at a local eating establishment. Please join us if you are free !

This event takes the place of the usual TPC monthly meeting which would have been scheduled for September 1st.
