India Fest showcases the arts and culture of India with vibrant stage performances including dance competitions, clothing and jewelry exhibitions and a selection of savory Indian food. This mega event draws over 3500 visitors every year and has become a venue for people from various cultures across Delmarva Valley to come and enjoy spectacular colors of INDIA. India Fest also hosts the yearly inter collegiate dance competition, and provide the platform for individual and groups to showcase their talent.

Each year, a portion of the proceeds from IndiaFest, are contributed to charitable organizations and relief efforts. In 2010, IAAD contributed significantly to the Haiti earthquake relief and reconstruction fund as well as the Wilmington Firefighters and Global Youth H.E.L.P. This year, natural disasters have come closer to home. The Mississippi floods and damage caused by tornado's in Joplin, MO., have left a large population without homes. This year IAAD is determined to help the residents of Mississippi and Missouri.

Venue
This year’s Annual India Fest celebration to be held at the Bob Carpenter Center (BCC), Newark, DE on Saturday, Oct 1, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
