The KLIF is anchored by Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) with the cooperation of the Malaysian Innovation Foundation (YIM). It will be held together with the MOSTI's National Innovation Conference and Exhibition (NICE).
The KLIF-2011 will continue to build-up to the proposed inaugural World Innovation Forum 2012
Expected participation is from high level representatives multi-sectorally from the Government, Private and Civil Society. There will be representations from Youths, Children and Women groups.
Some key facts and figures of the previous year's forum (KLIF 2010):
KLIF 2010 was held on 2-3 Nov 2010 at Sunway Lagoon Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Attendees: 487 delegates, and 31 speakers and moderators, with ten international speakers from Brazil, Australia, Egypt, Germany, Korea, Qatar, Sweden Taiwan and the US. The forum had a good mix from the corporates, academia, government and businesses.
Discussions were intense, both at the venue and at cyberspace

The presented papers were uploaded online and had 3,245 downloads within the first month
