-No Dogs/Pets Allowed!!
-Do Not Pee in the Bushes
-Smoke in the designated smoking section
-No underage drinking
-Keep lit BBQ's off grass
-No Swimming in the Lake
Donation/Gate Fee:
Due to the large attendance of previous SUNSET Parties at Stafford Lake and the unsafe lack of infrastructure to maintain the event, the County of Marin has mandated us to put support systems in place. These new elements include highway traffic control, parking staff, security, increased portable toilets which has the event costing us over $10,000.00 for the afternoon. We too feel they are important but can no longer foot the bill or rely on our donation box to make up the difference. We have chosen to instill a small $10 mandatory donation per car. This will be on top of the $10 entrance fee that Stafford Lake imposes daily. We are committed to keeping this event as affordable as possible and profit free, we just need to cover the now tremendous expense to provide this special but very large music picnic. All cars must park in Stafford Lake, No cars will be allowed to park on the side of the road which will be closely monitored by CHP.
Carpooling and Parking Lots:
We urge you to COME EARLY & CARPOOL or Take the PARTY BUS (see below) Carpool to share the gate fee, Carpool to save gas, Carpool cause it's fun. Once the main Stafford Lake parking lot is full. All cars will be directed by CHP to an overflow lot a 1/2 mile down the road. If you plan on coming late, we recommend you pack light as you may need to walk your belongings to the event. There is a nice lakeside path leading from this lot to the park.
We have worked very hard to preserve the culture of this event.
Please desginate a SOBER driver to get you home safely.
