Get set for the Freshly Breaked Christmas Cracker as we re-kindle the rave days of old with a multi-room party that features 2 of the UK’s finest, 3 interstate guests and a host of local favorites who will rip a hole in the Grand Poobah with an eclectic mash up of musical attitudes and an awesome cross section of the genre’s Freshly Breaked and Areacode have come to represent.
The two rooms will be rolling with the sounds of EV and JBL systems, boasting bass that funks like a skunk in a hole. Great you cry! And rightly so! Crisp clear beats and rugged slamming sub that will keep even the most hardened beat head off the bar and on the dance floor.

Famed for his eclectic musical influences and a divine gift to smash every dancefloor in sight, A-Skillz’ incredible deck talents fuse funk, soul and hip-hop with D’n’B, dub-step and breaks, all sliced, mashed and cut together in his own unique style. His reputation as a true party rocker have won him prime-time slots across the globe at major events and festivals including FabricLive (London), The Hit Factory (New York), WMC (Miami), Shambhala (Canada) and Field Day (Sydney).
As a producer A-Skillz has established himself as one of the most highly regarded in the business, releasing countless dancefloor bombs, including the infamous Insane Bangers series, a host of impressive remixes for the likes of stadium rockers Queen and Northern Soul Groovers Smoove & Turrell, together with singles on the legendary Finger Lickin’ Records and the now classic artist album ‘Tricka Technology’ with breakbeat heavyweight Krafty Kuts.
Alongside his globetrotting tours and hectic studio time, A-Skillz pulls the strings at the fresh and exciting new electro soul label Jam City. Structured on the foundations of the music he loves, Jam City is a towering prospect built to house the finest in party rockin’, road blockin’ beats.
Whilst continuing to dazzle the world over with his killer DJ performances, A-SKILLZ has been hard at work in the studio, putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming artist album. ELITE FORCE
Lucky for us, tech-funk tyrant Elite Force is powering back to Hobart this December, for 1 of only 3 shows in the country.
Calling Australia ‘one of the finest territories to play in the world, and the one place I most look forward to seeing appear on the itinerary,’ it’s clear that Elite Force enjoys his time down under, and with a raft of fans nationwide awaiting his return we’re sure the feeling is mutual.
Having been crowned as Best Producer at the 2011 Breakspoll Awards, and with his U&A imprint taking out Best Label, ELITE FORCE has been in high demand for shows across the globe, and we have been dying to get him back to Hobart for another round. His last (sell out) show at PlanB was one of the best show’s we’ve seen with his slick, high energy set full of exclusive tracks, remixes and bootlegs.
Aside from his always hectic tour schedule, Elite Force has recently taken on the ambitious task of producing 14 tracks for the Motorstorm: Apocalypse game on PS3, which serves as a launch-pad for his next artist album This Is Shockland.
So this December at The Freshly Breaked Christmas Cracker we welcome back a true favourite of ours, a man who without fail has rocked Hobart to its foundations each and every time he’s been kind enough to pay us a visit….

We welcome back Adelaide’s premier breaks man and NSB/Fresh Fm radio host; Marty B. Marty’s last gig in Hobart saw him warming up for The Plump DJ's and whipping the dance floor into a frenzy with his own unique selection and style. Having supported big names such as Rennie Pilgrem, Krafty Kuts, Cut La Roc, Sinden, Mesmer and Dopamine to name a few and fresh from gigs in the UK, Romania and Melbourne, Marty B is sure to treat your ears and your feet to some tasty beats!
