Sonic architects of songs with an emotional heft as heavy as the subwoofer rupturing basslines that underpin their work, Truth are one of New Zealand's finest creative exports. Respected across the globe, since inception several years ago, Truth (Andre Fernandez and Tristan Roake) have, as both world-class producers and party-rocking DJs, cut a clear pathway through the international dubstep scene.
On the nightclub and festival circuits, the fruits of their labor have included, three European tours, two American tours, countless Australian and Asian spot dates and a loyal following across New Zealand. Truth has built this performance presence through DJ support from Mala, Skream, Joe Nice, Youngsta, Hatcha and N-Type, giving their music an advance presence at key clubnights like DMZ in London, Club Love in New York and through seminal radio stations such as BBC Radio One, Kiss Fm and Rinse FM.
Through keynote DJ support, they have been rewarded with single releases via Deep Medi Muzik, Aquatic Lab, Disfigured Dubz, Argon and Boka Records. Through these, including critically 'The Fatman' (as released via Deep Medi Muzik) and their acclaimed Aquatic Lab released album Puppets, Truth have seen their stock rise, placing them as in-demand remixers and collaborators to The Nextmen, Miss Dynamite, Shapeshifter, The Black Seeds, Optimus Gryme, Silkie, Kromestar, Tunndige and countless figures of note within the international dubstep community.
Acclaimed by critics both within and outside the dubstep scene, their momentum is undeniable and impossible to ignore. Face the truth or get well outta the way.
--->PHETSTA: (Australia)<---
http://soundcloud.com/phetsta
http://www.facebook.com/phetsta
Phetsta burst onto the Drum & Bass scene in 2005 when he signed exclusively to the legendary Simon Bassline Smith's imprint Technique Recordings. The Australian producer quickly carved his own sound within the genre with early releases such as Intergalactic and Blur (Mixmag's tune of the month - May 2006).
In 2007 Phetsta released the acclaimed Congo EP, Knowledge Magazine calling it a "production masterpiece". The four track extended player cracked the top ten on BBC Radio 1's Drum & Bass charts. Phetsta show cased his versatility by slowing things down to 130 bpm for a guest single on Aquasky's label Passenger Recordings.
In 2008 he released From My Eyes, which received significant Radio 1 support from Annie Mac. and held onto a top ten position on Drum 'n' Bass Arena for eight weeks straight. Phetsta also teamed up with fellow Perth based producer Shock One to unleash the award winning (PDMA Track of the Year 2008) single The Sun. The duo also collaborated with London based Metrik on the dance floor tear out True Believer which featured on Shock One's self titled extended player on Viper Recordings.
2009 proved successful again with Phetsta & Shock One's Cyclones gaining day time rotation on Australia's Triple J, including a top three placing on Super Request.
In 2010 Phetsta also undertook several remixes. These included his remix of True Believer on ShockOne's Re-Fix EP on Viper Recordings. It stormed all of the major download charts and was even featured on Pendulum's Radio 1 Essential Mix. He also set to work on his second long player, The Prism EP.
The Prism EP was released in february 2011. With a keen eye for the dance floor and production levels that are second to none, The Prism EP delivered across the BPM’s, serving up full-throttle drum & bass alongside some gorgeous dubstep excursions. In particular it was his dubstep collaboration with Mad Decent's Reija Lee which garnered a lot of attention. The day it was released on youtube it was the 6th most viewed music video and 40th most viewed video overall. With almost half a million hits it went on to take out the top spot on trackitdown's dubstep chart and a top 3 placing on beatport, where it remained in the top 10 for two months. With support from the likes of Pendulum, Richard Kingsmill, Skream & Benga, Rusko, Zane Lowe and Annie Mac, The Prism EP is one of the essential broken beat releases of 2011.
--->SNAREOPHOBE: (United Kingdom)<---
http://soundcloud.com/snareophobe
http://www.facebook.com/snareophobe
A sub-conscious, forward thinking musical collaboration based in Bristol, UK. The project initially started as an experiment into the deeper side of bass music, spiralling into a live two man mashup of sub-low frequencies, diverse drum patterns and dubbed out atmospherics. Taking influences from Jungle, Hiphop, Garage, Breakbeat, Dubstep and Drum & Bass; the Snareophobe live set evolved. Performances consist of a hyper DJ vs Laptop sound clash - mixing up heavyweight basslines, samples, loops & fx; mashing up their own tracks over 4 channels and remixing tracks on the fly. Often joined on stage by Dub Fx, Lil Rhys & Mr Woodnote; layers of twisted, electronic music & vocal fx come as standard!
Upcoming releases are set to drop on Functional Records, Bulldozer & Dub FX’s label Convoy UnLtd and are being championed by the likes of Bassnectar, Aquasky, Freq Nasty, I.D, Si Begg, Tes La Rok, Calverton, Vandera, 6Blocc & Jay Cunning.

Member of the Irie Cartel and Resident DJ / Co-Operator of Ritual
Dubstep in San Francisco, Mr.Kitt has been Rocking crowds
the past few years. Born into a British family from Gloucestershire,
the first generation American has been influenced by his British
cousins and friends who introduced him to early British Electro,
2-Step, Garage, Grime & Dubstep. While spending most of his youth
canvassing the west coast as a predominant graffiti artist, Mr.Kitt
was drawn to the dark, ominous sounds of bass, inspiring him to put
down the spray paint and pick up the tables after an encounter with
the law.
A self-proclaimed Dubstep fiend, Mr.Kitt prides himself on making
each show unique. He often looks like a DJ Priest performing an
exorcism on a crowd; causing them to convulse uncontrollably as he
delivers deadly drops aimed to please men and women alike. His
cohesive sets take you on a journey of melodic breathers, bassgasms,
and near aneurisms. Feeding off of positive energy and raw emotion,
Mr.Kitt's ability to read crowds and deliver the freshest sounding
dubs has gained him the love of crowds all along the west coast. Plug
in, let go. You won’t be disappointed.
