ATTENTION! VERY IMPORTANT CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE! READ AND SPREAD THE WORD!
Someone from the community has informed us of a huge marathon event that is happening at the Plaza De Cesar Chavez on the day of our General Assembly.
While the marathon it's self isn't bad, the advertising corporations are occupying Plaza De Cesar Chavez to bring our community together to buy stuff. But this presents us with a great opportunity! WE WILL NOW BE MEETING IN BACKESTO PARK to have our General Assembly. Bronco's Taqueria is kindly giving us a discount on veggie and chicken tacos. It's a local family business so we're really excited to support them.
There are a lot of ramps and street blockages, so we recommend you take 101, exit on Oakland Rd/13th St.
We will be marching to Plaza De Cesar Chavez after our General Assembly to meet the media and community there!
WE NEED TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS CHANGE. PLEASE POST ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER, YOUR LOCAL BULLETIN BOARDS AND TALK TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW.
Peace, love and solidarity!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before the financial meltdown of 2007 the median American household net worth was $102,500 and by 2009 went down to $65,400.
The top 1%'s share of the nations wealth, however, went from 34.6% to 37.1% in that same time frame.
This is the largest and most audacious power grab in American history.
Currently there are occupations and organizing on Wall Street, in Washington DC, Phoenix AZ, Atlanta GA, Los Angeles CA, Dallas TX, Houston TX, Nashville TN, Seattle WA, Portland OR, San Francisco CA, not to mention the countless other organizations internationally all over Europe. The movement is growing!
This is a chance for our community to come together to share thoughts and experiences on a variety of issues pertaining to corporate responsibility, sustainable living techniques, and the future of our economic system.
There will be tacos!
