Each of us forms aspirations to lead wiser, more balanced and kinder lives. And we often might feel we've fallen short. With self-compassion and forgiveness, we can find ways to make effort, to grow, and to begin again with wholeheartedness and inspiration.
On this day of reflection we will explore ways to step out of our ordinary dynamic of separation and self-judgment, and consider the power of compassion and forgiveness for ourselves and others as a means to change, a way to live with both strength and the ease of an open heart.
Sharon Salzberg will introduce these teachings and support us in our own experience and cultivation of these qualities through direct instruction and guided meditation using classical techniques in a modern idiom. There will also be opportunities for questions.
Suitable for both beginning and more experienced meditators, don't miss this wonderful opportunity to spend a morning practicing with Sharon!
Music for this event will be provided by Joey Lugassy and Friends. A gifted musician, Joey's professional highlights and honors include singing for Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh, writing a PSA song for Amnesty International, and performing at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles with India.
Suitable for both beginning and more experienced meditators, don't miss this wonderful opportunity to spend a morning practicing with Sharon!
