Syracuse University is doing Spring Break Silicon Valley March 11-16. It looks cool. I am starting a sequel to it.
When I was an undergrad in engineering at University of Illinois, I took Spring Break for about 6 weeks. No I didn't fail out or drop out but I did get out there with a nice head start.

When I was an undergrad in engineering at University of Illinois, I took Spring Break for about 6 weeks. No I didn't fail out or drop out but I did get out there with a nice head start.
The "Larry Chiang Geek Spring Break" is meant to be that head start for you. Just like entrepreneurship, this spring break has zero structure to it. It is full on mayhem.
How it works. You get my schedule from March 3-April 11. I get into some pretty amazing events. My access comes from years of ass kissing, tears from the front lines, toiling to write a bestseller and kissing babies until I was yacked/slobbered/peed on.
You get access just for following this Plancast account.
Oh, one more thing. I require you to read, email and text me before you join me. Each article takes about 4-10 min to read and re-reading takes another 4-10 minutes. It took me an hour to write but years to learn. Do the math: you spend 20 min. You get years.
That is my secret. I read.
I re-read.
I execute.
Read and execute my mentor's book "What They Don't Teach You at Harvard Business School"

Costs:
The program cost is roughly $1,500 – $2,000 per student. This includes flight, hotel, transportation, program fee, and most meals. We are continuing to work to reduce that cost through underwriters, and are making progress towards that goal. If you are concerned about the cost, we encourage you to still apply, as we will continue to seek underwriting support until the admissions process has closed.
Application
The application for Spring Break in Silicon Valley 2012 is available here: SBSV 2012 Application. Please return the completed application by e-mail to Andrew Farah at
