Last year, the all-male geek fashion show Geek 2 Chic hit Washington DC and raised funds for a good cause. This fall, Geek 2 Chic returns bigger and better than ever.
Join executive producer Mark Drapeau of Microsoft, your master-of-ceremonies Angie Goff of NBC Washington, our media sponsor DC magazine, and over 20 of Washington DC's prominent geeks as they strut their stuff on the Bloomingdale's catwalk at The Men's Store to benefit the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (
http://www.nfte.com).
Buy tickets here:
http://www.nfte.com/geek2chic -- Admission is limited, and guests *must* purchase tickets in advance to attend. For media requests, contact Mark Drapeau.
General admission guest tickets are $45, and VIP tickets are $75. VIP ticketholders receive seating along the catwalk, a VIP gift bag, and admission to the exclusive afterparty at L2 Lounge co-presented by TechCocktail.com.
In addition to all ticket proceeds directly benefitting the cause, 10% of sales at Bloomingdale's that evening will be donated to NFTE. The show will feature one young model whose career directly benefited from NFTE's technology program.
