Manu Kumar runs one of the Bay Area's most respected micro-VC investment funds, K9 Ventures. A technologist by trade, Manu earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science (Human Computer Interaction) from Stanford after founding his successful startup, SneakerLabs. Prior to that he got a Masters in Software Engineering and a Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
Manu will be joining us in October to speak about his experiences with designing great technologies as viable businesses. His talk will draw from his own experiences and from his work with K9 Ventures portfolio companies like Lytro, Twilio, CrowdFlower, DNAnexus, CardMunch (acquired by LinkedIn), Zimride, BackType (acquired by Twitter), IndexTank, card.io, LucidChart and more.
