Sterling Society is a Men's Charitable Group, a 501 (c4) comprised of Single Professional men, founded in 1992.

We have monthly Happy Hours and regularly draw in excess of 250 people for the Benefit of our primary charity Ability Connection Texas(ACT).

Ability Connection Texas - Originally founded as United Cerebral Palsy of North Texas, today serves over 800 clients with a wide variety of disabilities

In 2011, UCP of North Texas changed its name to Ability Connection Texas to better define the scope of the organization’s mission and to focus on the Abilities that the people we serve have demonstrated. Although originally serving only individuals with cerebral palsy, today ACT serves individuals with all types of physical, cognitive, acquired and developmental disabilities.including autism,cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other developmental disabilities. ACT is seeking lightly used i-Pads-lightly used i-Pad I models are needed and works well for us.

Ability Connection Texas (ACT) is making technology more accessible to individuals with disabilities by providing technology to individuals who can benefit from its use. ACT’s Technology Initiative will give individuals with disabilities the opportunity to receive an i-Pad® with special augmentative communication software from Proloquo2go™ at no cost. The technology items will be awarded to a limited number of individuals based on a competitive application process. Devices are awarded on a quarterly-basis.
