This is my story is a multimedia exhibition that will feature the work of sixteen artists who have created works about the impact of violence in Pakistan. In addition, the exhibit will showcase oral histories, photographs and installations that explore memories and legacies of the past and present conflicts in Pakistan.

This fraction informs us of those who are counted as the ‘injured’ in a suicide bombing, but does not always delve into their lives in the wake of the attack. It is said that where prose fails us, poetry enables us to communicate – in this particular case, the artists’ who are part of This is my story have attempted to fill the gaps in our information through their interaction with victims of violence.
Opening: Tuesday October 11th 2011, 5pm to 8pm.
Exhibition continues until October 20th (10am to 6pm), Sunday closed.
