 Denmark&#039\;s versatile and prolific producer\, Trentemoller\,
returns to SF with his full band to perform at one of SF&#039\;s
most beloved and historic venues! His fresh sounds and quality
productions have given way to a new twist in \n
minimal techno with a nod towards indie rock\; combining layered
dynamics\, distorted twang-guitars and synths alongside melodic
voices that possess the perfect wide-range balance between
minimal and maximal tech/electro house. Says Pitchfork media\,
&quot\;I can&#039\;t think of any other producer who so deftly
 fuses minimal techno\, big-room house\, and\n
the itchy-scratchy fidgeting of IDM without sounding tokenistic.
 This is sultry\, sexy music.&quot\;\n
 \n
When his debut album ‘The Last Resort’ was released in 2006\,
Anders Trentemøller had already established his name as one of
the greatest talents of electronic music. ‘The Last Resort’
was an effort to expand his horizon and show the world another
side of his musical personality. The 13 instrumental tracks
together form a musical story\, almost like the soundtrack of a
movie. The album struck a chord with new audiences \n
all around the world and quickly became a international hit\,
earning a number of music awards as well as the ‘album of the
 year&#039\; in numerous magazines. \n
 \n
2007 followed two vocal singles taken from the album: ‘Always
Something Better’ (featuring Richard Davis) and ‘Moan’
(with Danish singer Ane Trolle). The same year\, the double album
‘The Trentemøller Chronicles’ was released\, which contained
Anders‘ personal selection of his best songs which were not
included in the debut album ‚and includes remixes for artists
like Röyksopp\, The Knife and Moby.\n
 \n
Trentemøller’s remix for the first single of the new Depeche
Mode album ‘Sounds Of The Universe’ and ‘Wrong’ was
released on the official remix EP in 2009. The Trentemøller
remix for Franz Ferdinand‘s ‚No You Girls‘ \n
also released in 2009 was nominated for a US Grammy award. Later
that year\, he presented his first mix compilation on the new
label ‘hfn music’. ‘Harbour Boat Trips 01- Copenhagen’
consisted of a collection of his\n
personal favorites from the past four decades.\n
 \n
Meanwhile\, &#039\;Into the Great Wide Yonder\,&#039\; the follow
up album of 2010 revealed him as an artist willing to take
risks\, find inspiration in new places and move beyond the
extraoridnary visual effects designed and built by Henrik Vibskov
and crew. Remarks\, Trentemøller: ‘Of course I didn’t want
to make the same record twice. That would have been boring.’
Instead he just started to collect new ideas\, without thinking
too much about the direction the music would take him: ‘The
only thing I knew was that I’d want the music to be more
organic\, warm and not typical electronic sounding‘.\n
