Jeffrey Wayne Henderson was born in Chicago, Illinois, the second oldest of three boys. The family also includes five girls. The Henderson family moved to Long Beach, California, in 1960. It was there that Jeffrey began the journey of his formal education. He graduated from Banning High School in Wilmington, California and attended Harbor Community College in Harbor City, California. Jeffrey always had an entrepreneurial spirit. He opened his first business, the Henderson Investment Company, at the age of 17. This soon opened the doors for other ventures, Henderson's Towing Company and Henderson's Auto Body and Sales, which he ran for over ten years.
Eventually, Jeffrey got bitten by the entertainment bug. He currently hosts his own radio show, The Jeffrey Henderson Show. The format is mainly R&B/Talk, but you never know what he's got up his sleeve on any given show. He interviews celebrities, introduces new music, there's entertainment feature reporting by Ken McCoy, live call-in conversation, laughs - it's high energy. Like everything he's done, Jeffrey Henderson is going after entertainment success in a big way. He has attended the last three Academy Awards events. Celebrity interviews have included Lamont Dozier, Snoop Dogg, Laurence Fishburne, Wayne Brady, Sheila E, Paula Abdul, Kelly Mullis, Mohammed Ali, Chantal Lashon, Emmett North, Jr., Vernon Thornton, Rick Irvin, Ken McCoy, Bean, Beverly Green, Dave Rosa, John Neal, Tanja, Jae Tracie, and Donna Shannon - to name only a few.
Also an accomplished musician, Jeffrey Henderson knows from whom his blessings flow. He is dedicated to his church, for which he rocks the house on piano and keyboards every Sunday morning to the Glory of God.
Not to be accused of being all-work-and-no-play, Jeffrey has a variety of other interests. He enjoys going out to movies, concerts and plays. His athletic interests include football, basketball, and swimming. He likes to travel and makes the most of vacations. One of the highlights of his travels was when he walked the Great Wall of China and visited the Forbidden City in Beijing. Jeffrey also enjoys quieter activities like reading, writing, and computers. Not all-work-and-no-play, but definitely a work-a-holic, Jeffrey works long hours. There is still a lot he wants to accomplish and he's going for it in high-gear.
