With the current political atmosphere in the US, now is the time for the people's voice to be heard in the political discourse in Washington. For too long the policies of the Federal Government have supported a series unsustainable economic practices, and the majority of Americans are worse off for it. Regardless of party affiliation, it is time for a nationwide call to arms against what has become a government, by the government, for the government. Skip class, give one lunch period, do whatever necessary to make an MSU walk out a success. This is an effective, NON-PARTISAN way to make our voice be heard in the Bozeman area and Montana at large. We can at least remind Montana's three Federal Delegates that the people's voice is their voice.

One message has come to the forefront of the movement: empowerment of the people. Occupy Bozeman is asking Bozemanites to join in a call to action regardless of individual party or affiliation or preference. The goal is to gather these diverse viewpoints, these independent free thinking Americans and to call for reform from the American Federal Government.
