In the meeting September 13th, we discussed the concept of consciousness and used experiementation to explore the experience of subjective consciousness, or what Gurdjieff called self-remembering.     Sorry, but I hear a lot of ego here. If listened to; the mind/ego complex will take us off out into the weeds, and make us think that we’re going somewhere when we’ are not. By listening to and taking seriously the rattling’s of our minds, we have effectively erected the vary barrier we wish to transcend. If you are truly looking for truth, expanded consciousness, awareness or whatever term you might prefer – in my old Hippy days we use to call it “The Eternal Now.” But now, after experiencing a thing (out of the blue) called, in Buddhism, “Satori” – which is a profound spiritual awakening – I now call my quest ‘a journey’ into the eternal “Tao.”
