So, here's the idea/experiment:

Everybody seems to be going to parties and bars lately and devicing it all up instead of talking to people. So, let's throw a party where all you can do it device it up, but instead of using it to get away from the party, it's how you actually interact with people at the party – text, chatroom, Tweet, Facebook, whatever. Hence, iParty (like you bring your iPhone or iPad or, if you're awesome, your desktop iMac computer).

Here are some more details -

- No talking, just devicing (e.g. instead of say "Hello", text that person "Hello")
- Gestures allowed and encouraged (e.g. high fives, smiling)
- Laughing allowed
- Silent Disco (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_disco)
- We'll Livestream the party so more people can party with us via devices
- Though the name is iParty, non-Apple devices are certainly welcome
- Open to more ideas!

NOTE: This is just an idea with a date and theme. If you say you're coming it'll encourage me to get my act together a throw an awesome party. So, you down?
