This workshop day includes intimate cut and styling classes with top talent guiding students through hands-on experience with models. This section of ADVANCED education upholds the ethos of SACHAJUAN as progressive, relevant and on the forefront of creativity. You will learn techniques for cutting and styling that are more eclectic and fashion-forward, as well inspire you to be more avant-garde in your own work.
*NOTE: Any advanced classes this day may not be attended without full attendance at the Main Education Event Demo Day on Monday, October 17.

Breaking away from the “traditional” industry forums and discussions where only owners are involved, we decided to provide everyone in the industry an opportunity to participate in this open forum… completely open. Any individual involved in the beauty/salon industry who wants to learn more, impart information, sink their teeth into the ins and outs of running and working in a successful, progressive salon is invited and encouraged to attend. This way, everyone is exposed to all perspectives of the business to better understand how to better their business from all 360 degrees. This will be a productive, creative learning experience that will not only ultimately grow your business, but also enrich the relationships within your salon.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS & OUR VENUES
SACHA MITIC is the celebrated Stockholm hairdresser who is one half of the genius behind the innovative SACHAJUAN hair care line. He holds an arsenal of experience with the upper echelon of photographers and magazines from all over the world.
DENNIS DEVOY is a New York staple with twenty years of experience in the fashion industry. His career includes collaborations with leading photographers Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Annie Liebovitz, Patrick Demarchelier and Richard Burbridge, and has shaped the look for leading fashion editorials including American Vogue, W, Elle, V, T Magazine, i-d, L’Uomo Vogue, Vogue Nippon.
COBY ALCANTAR is an absolutely charming master stylist at Whittemore House, known for her superior cutting skills at top salons from San Francisco to New York City. She’s created demos and educational videos, developed a curriculum for the school, and educated at Bumble and bumble.
ANGELA SOTO holds experience from Bumble, as well as styling backstage at Fashion Week alongside Laurent Phillipon, Jimmy Paul and Guido Palau. She has also worked on shoots for magazines such as Nylon, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and Shape; styled celebrities including The Strokes and Lady Gaga; and contributed to ad campaigns for Target and Foley + Corinna.
EZEL MUSTAFA, the world-famous charismatic stylist known for his top celebrity and editorial fashion styling also served as head consultant for Bumble & bumble for 16 years… Amidst consulting, he created legendary images with photographers Richard Avedon, Mario Testino, Irving Penn, Guy Bourdin and Helmut Newton.
VICTORIA HUNTER has styled around the world, including her native Australia, London and Hong Kong, ultimately landing in New York and working for Bumble before opening up her own salon with co-owner, Larry Respanti. She is known for her famous hair painting techniques at famed Whittemore House. Part of her celebrity roster includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Bosworth, Stephanie Seymour, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, and Gucci.
LARRY RESPANTI, a New York native, has been perfecting color for over 10 years, spearheading Sally Hershberger’s Color Program as well as working at Bumble, where he met co-owner of successful Whittemore House, Victoria Hunter. Celebrity roster includes Bono, The Edge, several top models, Sports Illustrated, Law & Order, Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone.
PETER BUTLER's signature looks, from SoCal surf scene to rock n’ roll motorcycle chic to Paris Haute Couture, have graced the pages of major fashion magazines from W to Vanity Fair to Interview. His advertising clients include major campaigns for Christian Dior Beauty, L'Oreal Paris, Maybelline and the Gap. Butler's celebrity clients include Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Claire Danes, Sharon Stone, Rene Zellweger and Cindy Crawford.
ERIN ANDERSON has emerged as one of the hottest talents in the industry. She has developed a strong fashion editorial background, working with the most sought after photographers in the business. Designers, beauty editors and brands utilize Erin for her expertise and charisma, hosting on-camera and behind-the-scenes reporting. Notably, Erin is a Co-Founder/EVP/Artistic Director of Woodley & Bunny.
HOLLI SMITH, with ten years of cutting & teaching and five years as Guido's assistant, is known for her attention to detail and ability to invent new cuts and styles. Holli has worked with top photographers, publications, and brands, including Dan Jackson, Patrick Demarchelier, Vogue, i-D, V, Helmut Lang, Alexander Wang, and Nike. Her art and music clientele include Kim Ann Foxman, JD Samson, Lizzy Trulie, Collier Schorr, Hanna Liden and Roe Etheridge.
