This is our second anniversary, and the start of another fun year, after two amazing years in New York City. The latest Babycastles exhibition, QWOP THE SCREEN, was so inspiring that we are committing to keep this kind of thing happen in a long term and sustainable way.

----> For this next year - we have a new initiative - Babycastles wants to let arcades crawl all over the city in every imaginable space possible, with no bounds. To make this happen Babycastles is changing the way it's operating completely. <----
- Babycastles will be a large group of volunteers working on curating, setting up, building, cooking for, and finding venues for game exhibitions everywhere. We want you all to make student exhibitions, art exhibitions, not-really-games-but-software-that-can-sort-of-be-called-games exhibitions.
- It's primary focus will be to help arcades to show up at various venues including but not limited to bars, museums, schools, college dorms, in central park, whereever there is an exciting new place to showcase video games.
- Every subsequent arcade should have a funny unique reason for being there, like the new So So Glows arcade we are facilitaing at Shea Stadium or the new Hayden Planetarium games series we are working on establishing at the Museum of Natural History.
- We want to help make it really easy and fluid for everyone to get involved. We are going to try to show our organizational process and what it takes to make these things happen and how independent game exhibitions can take shape, and the things that we think are important as arcades like this continue into the future.
- We are relying on everyone to join in and make the whole process continue to happen, and to invent all the new magic as the project grows.
For this Sunday afternoon we will get BBQ and head to OWS to join our friends!
