Get those cheeks swabbed and grab a drink with your favorites at the October SAGC mixer! Bring a friend and double Amit's chances of finding a match.
$1 of each Margarita or a Mojito is donated to SAGC. This is a FREE event.
Amit Gupta, SF techie and super tweeter @superamit, was diagnosed with acute Leukemia two weeks ago, and since, Amit has had trouble finding a bone marrow match, primarily because of the lack of donors from the South Asian (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Nepalese, Bhutani, Maldivian and Sri Lankan) community.
Come out to Cigar Bar to see if you're a match.. You could save his life and be awarded with $20,000, raised by Amits friends. Spread the word to increase his chances, and drink to donate to support SAGC.
Last year, through events such as these, we were able to raise and distribute $10,000 to three local non-profits: Narika, Maitri, and the Sangati Center.
