It wouldn't be a proper Halloween season without a Silicon Valley Tweetup event! Please join us on October 26 at Rosie McCann's in San Jose for an evening of tricks, treats and tweets as we gather to have a good time and, as usual, raise money for an important cause.

This month we're supporting Youth Science Institute (http://www.ysi-ca.org/), a Silicon Valley leader in nature-based science education. Since its founding in 1953 in Alum Rock Park, more than 1.5 million children have experienced the wonder and excitement of a YSI program. YSI's mission is to reach every child in Santa Clara County and Silicon Valley with hands-on science education, and to reach them multiple times each year.

Your $10 donation (trick?) goes directly to the charity and your prize (treat?) is drink tickets and appetizers. We'll also have a costume contest, so get cranking on some ideas! Categories and prizes to be announced soon, but you know that Silicon Valley Tweetup knows how to put on a party, and we won't let you down.
