Come join us in watching the next episode of E.S.P. TV (#8) on a real TV in a real old New York bar with real good martinis and a real half broken jukebox and a real couple of characters who appear to be the Tuesday night regulars. It will be real. Is it Cheers? No it's Forlini's, and I am a new fan of their calamari and disregard for cohesive decor.
And this episode of E.S.P. TV will be really something with performances by Ami Dang and Regal Degal plus videos courtesy of Aboveground Animation and E.S.P. TV.
Oh, and it's also the ACTUAL birthday of Mary Boom (Bradford Nordeen) and Lee Lichtsinn, our Production Asst. extraordinaire, and it's 2 days before my birthday, so multiple celebrations will be occurring. It's a birthday dinner party of sorts. A very informal one.
We'll be bringing a VHS camera too, because one of the guys who works here thinks he wants to be on E.S.P. TV, so we will be taping his impromptu comedy routines at the bar. Anyone got a light? Not a lighter for a smoke but one of those video camera lights.
The show airs EXACTLY at 10pm, party starts at 9 or whenever you get there.
