The folks at LitQuake have (very kindly) extended another invitation for me to read at "LitLaughs: Satire, Parody and Humor." This will be the 5th time I've performed at the madness and mayhem that is LitCrawl. And this one is at the coolest venue yet... The Lone Palm.

Friends!
The folks at LitQuake have (very kindly) extended another invitation for me to read at "LitLaughs: Satire, Parody and Humor." This will be the 5th time I've performed at the madness and mayhem that is LitCrawl. And this one is at the coolest venue yet... The Lone Palm.
WHAT IS LITCRAWL?
Well, according to the website: Lit Crawl is the world’s largest free literary crawl, in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission district, where it all began. In 2011, we’ll feature 450 readers and 79 readings in ONE night. Yes, ONE single night. More writers and book lovers than you can shake a stick at. Crazy. Inspiring. Exhilarating. Impossible to categorize. You don’t want to miss it.
WHAT WILL YOU BE READING?
I'm not quite sure. If it's okay with my editor at The New York Times, I'll be reading from a very funny (forthcoming) piece I penned for the Styles section. If it's not okay with her, well, I'll read something else. Like maybe a new humor story about the miserable fun that was Tough Mudder.
WILL IT BE WORTH IT?
I sure hope so. I mean, if your car gets towed because you're running late and don't want to miss my reading, well then.. hell no. But in all likelihood, you'll have a wonderful time laughing at me. And I might even buy you a free beer as a token of my thanks. Try me.
I hope to see you there. Your smiling face will surely make my night.
Thanks for your support.
Cheers,
