Set in a classic American high-school dance as dreamed by Shakespeare’s “Midsummer” lovers, the piece explores the journey of the wallflower in us all, from shyness to abandon. The cast, designers and director Mark Jackson have created this new choreographic theatre piece collaboratively. World premiere!

Jackson, an SF State alum, is among the most acclaimed and sought-after theatre artists in the Bay Area, known for utilizing highly physical movement and acting techniques. His work has also been performed in the U.K. and Germany.
